Senior Delivery Manager
Codiance is a growing UK software consultancy delivering bespoke digital solutions across a wide range of sectors and clients. We partner with public and private sector organisations to design, build and deliver high-quality solutions from complex, regulated environments to fast-moving, commercially driven products.
We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Delivery Manager to lead our delivery team in providing high-quality digital solutions to our clients. Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll work closely with both Operations and Technical leadership to manage software engineering delivery teams, support bid activity, and evolve our delivery processes in line with best practice. This role is client-facing and delivery-led, offering exposure to multiple projects, organisations and domains
This is a key senior role in a growing organisation with big ambitions. You'll bring your strategic leadership, delivery execution, financial control, and team development experience to ensure we consistently exceed client expectations while supporting Codiance’s broader growth strategy.

Technical competencies
Essential
- Agile, hybrid, or predictive delivery approaches
- Lead the full delivery lifecycle from discovery and initiation through to live and closure
- End-to-end delivery planning, including timelines, dependencies, resourcing and budget forecasting
Experience and qualifications
Essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable manner that fosters positive team dynamics and client relationships
- At least 10 years’ experience of project delivery in a technical environment, specifically software development
- Experience in both agile and waterfall methodologies
- Excellent attention to detail
- Budget & resource management
- Financially literate
- Identifying and managing risk
- Proven experience managing technical delivery teams
- MSP, Prince2, PMP, Agile, ScrumMaster or similar qualifications
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or JIRA
Desirable
- Public sector delivery experience
- Track record of implementing project management frameworks
- Business development experience, specifically client pitches
- Working knowledge of GDS
- Experience of GDS service assessments
